Extract qualification status. The glycerosomal Reishi extract is currently undergoing production batch qualification. The trial batch is not offered commercially. Full results for a commercial batch are sent to the customer before delivery.

Testing and documentation
The documents below are sample data sheets and reports based on test batches. Every commercial delivery comes with its own certificate of analysis.

Allergens
The glycerosomal extract contains soy (hydrogenated lecithin, emulsifier) and crustaceans (chitosan oligosaccharide, emulsifier). Both are allergens listed in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and must be emphasised in the ingredient list of the finished product. The dried fruiting body contains no allergens.
Regulatory status
We confirm the regulatory status of glycerosomal extracts under Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 (novel food) for the specific application and target market. The customer is responsible for the compliance of the finished product in the country where it is placed on the market. The alcohol content must be reflected in the labelling of the finished product.
Research status versus product communication
The mushroom β-glucans in Reishi are the subject of ongoing research into how innate immunity receptors (Dectin-1, TLR2/4) recognise them. The mechanism is described, but no authorised health claim exists for mushroom β-glucans. This describes the state of knowledge about the compound, not what the product does. For botanical ingredients we use only on-hold claims (Article 28(6) of Regulation 1924/2006) in their registered wording. Every delivery comes with a list of permitted and prohibited wordings.
