Technology
Glycerosomes are phospholipid vesicles in a glycerol phase. The extract is enclosed in them by high-power sonication, which gives a homogeneous viscous liquid ready for liquid formulations.
Composition
Purified water, USP glycerol, ethanol, 5:1 birch bark extract, sunflower lecithin, cholesterol, horse chestnut seed extract (Aesculus hippocastanum, 20% aescin), chitosan oligosaccharide, sodium alginate, alpha-tocopherol. Non-GMO.

Testing and documentation
Every commercial delivery comes with its own certificate of analysis for the batch number.
- Data sheet Full composition, physicochemical parameters, markers, contaminants, microbiology, nutritional values, labelling and logistics.
- Batch certificate of analysis Heavy metals (Cd, Pb, As, Hg) by ICP-MS and cold-vapour AAS. Pesticide residues. Microbiology to PN-EN ISO standards.

Allergens and sensitive groups
Allergen — crustaceans. The product contains chitosan oligosaccharide derived from
crustaceans, used as an emulsifier. It is an allergen listed in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No
1169/2011 and must be emphasised in the ingredient list of the finished product. The lecithin is
from sunflower, not soy.
Sensitive groups. Because of its aescin and ethanol content, the product is not
intended for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Regulatory status
The qualification of the product and the status of its ingredients under Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 are the subject of a separate legal analysis. The customer is responsible for the compliance of the finished product in the country where it is placed on the market. The alcohol content must be reflected in the labelling of the finished product.
Research status versus product communication
Lupane triterpenes — betulin and betulinic acid — are the subject of ongoing research into antioxidant activity and effects on metabolic pathways, mostly in in vitro and animal models. This describes the state of knowledge about the compounds, not what the product does. For botanical ingredients we use only on-hold claims (Article 28(6) of Regulation 1924/2006) in their registered wording. Every delivery comes with a list of permitted and prohibited wordings.
